Keep an eye out for local food festivals and events that celebrate the region's culinary heritage. These festivals often feature live music, cooking demonstrations, and, of course, plenty of mouth-watering dishes. Keep an eye out for a more recent addition to the festival calendar too - ‘A Festival Called George’ showcases Tasmanian craft beer and spirits, and happens in the heart of St Helens. Down the road a little further, The Bicheno Food and Wine Festival is an annual highlight for foodies, offering a chance to sample the best of the region's cuisine.
